Abilities, Attitudes and Attributes

ASCO's Activity Facilitators develop an excellent rapport with Members, creating a relationship based on trust. When a referral is received from an external agency and the Member is matched to a Activity Facilitator the process would be one of developing communication. Our Activity Facilitators have a high level of empathy and understanding, creating a good relationship from an early stage, during which different needs are highlighted and addressed. Our Members are referred on to external services at a mutually appropriate time.

Because ASCO offers such a broad range of services, we find our Activity Facilitators often address other issues of re-integration concurrently with the initial reason for referral.

Professional Supervision

The Activity Facilitators that ASCO employs are experienced with various levels of qualifications. The needs of our Members are assessed and are matched to a Activity Facilitator according to their requirements. All Activity Facilitators are provided with external supervision on a regular basis.
